These are the histories we have so far, more are soon to follow. These files are in MP3 format [96 Bit rate; 44kHz; Stereo] (FM radio quality) to keep the file sizes small. In addition to recording and converting these files into MP3, we have used iTunes to organize and fill out file details in advance. This is so that the MP3 track plays in order and by album. We have also included a album art to download for those that like to have an image for their computer, iPod or other MP3 player. CD's can be made from your computer's MP3 player (like iTunes) from these files. If you don't have a MP3 player application on your computer you can download iTunes (because it is free, very easy to use, and can run on multiple computer operating systems). These files are generously hosted by Chuckarbinteriors.com for us. Download links to the MP3's are found under the description summary. If you have any questions let us know.
To download file: Mouse Right Click (PC) / CTRL+Return (MAC) to "Save Link As" will save the MP3 to the designated location on your computer.
George O. Woodford
Interviewed by Frank Brockway in 1979. In this audio clip Grandpa briefly talks about two of his paintings.
The first is about a study painting of the Caroline Bridge by Henry Adolphus Culmer. The Caroline Bridge study was donated to the Springville Museum of Art after Grandpa's Death.
The second painting is a work done by Amelia Woodford (Grandpa's Aunt), "Bluebeard's Eighth Wife" -circa 1907. It was inherited by his daughter Joan's family.
If anyone has a photo of either of these paintings please email a copy to us so that those that have never seen them can. -E
Beatrice E. Brockway/Woodford
Interviewed by Frank Brockway in 1979. These are copies from two cassettes duplicated from a set of three. This audio history series covers the life of Grandma in fragments from the time of her mother's death, migration from Canada to Montana, Idaho and Oregon, to Utah where she met Grandpa George, and then to the events of that time.
Tidbit: Leo's side of the family called Beatrice "Mere" which is French for Grandma, Great-grand children called her "Grandma Mere."
Leo H. Brockway
Grandpa recorded himself in this two part set (circa 1977). It was Grandpa's intention to record more.
Helen (Andersen) Harker
Robert records his mother on cassette (October 2nd and 9th, 1982). The tape is aged and is in two parts for each side of the tape. I have included some album art if you want it. Mary E. Harker

Note: The original copy of this audio was from a cassette tape. Ten minutes somehow was erased thus creating the gap. It is assumed that since both sides was affected that it came in contact with a magnet. 😢

Up and Coming
We have other Audio Histories to digitize. Please come back to see what we have added. Of course not everyone listed here is dead yet, hehe, but they are good nonetheless. If you have something that you would like to contribute, it would be great.Additions to come:
- Looking for the Green family swing jam session (circa 1960's), I copied a reel to reel to cassette in the early 90's -I am still looking for it.
- more as they are found.
